Dolby Atmos compatibility is being added to 1 million Tesla vehicles, and a new, safer Full Self-Driving beta version is also being added

On the company's third-quarter earnings call, Tesla reiterated its commitment to a widespread FSD rollout in Q4 2022

Tesla CEO Elon Musk just tweeted that anyone in North America with the FSD package and a suitable vehicle can now access the Full Self-Driving Beta. The Tesla Autopilot/AI team, according to Musk, was responsible for the success.

"If you have purchased this upgrade, you can now request the Tesla Complete Self-Driving Beta from the car screen anywhere in North America. Congratulations to the Tesla Autopilot/AI team on reaching this significant milestone!" Musk penned.

Autopilot deactivation devices can be found via Tesla Full Self-Driving (FSD) Beta v10.69.3.1. Once Tesla makes the FSD available to the general public, the feature will make it safer.

Unresponsible drivers have abused Tesla's cutting-edge driver assistance technology by deploying defeat devices to trick it, raising questions about the safety of FSD and Autopilot. Teslascope, a software tracker for Tesla, discovered that version 10.69.3.1 disables Autopilot when it detects a defeated device.

The business is reportedly looking on new techniques to recognise Autopilot-defeating devices, according to Teslascope. Tesla started rolling out FSD Beta v10.69.3.1 to people who had been eagerly awaiting access to the software last week.

On the company's third-quarter earnings call, Tesla reiterated its commitment to a widespread FSD rollout in Q4 2022. Tesla sent the eagerly awaited Full Self-Driving Beta to all North American customers before Thanksgiving dinner even if they have less than 100 Autopilot miles and an 80 Safety Score.

Elon Musk has informed everyone that the Tesla FSD will not get regulatory approval when it is made widely available. He stated that regulatory approval and the general availability of the FSD are "different concerns."

For buyers who are prepared to stick with Tesla for a while, the next software updates should significantly improve the sound systems of both its present and future cars.

For months, Tesla has been working with major record labels to integrate Dolby Atmos into its vehicles. All recently manufactured Teslas and the more than one million Teslas now on the road will support Dolby Atmos once the software upgrade is implemented.

Dolby Atmos, a surround sound technology that made its debut in 2012 and has since been adopted by tens of thousands of movie theatres, consumer devices like speakers, headphones, and smartphones, as well as automobiles, uses height channels to interpret sounds as three-dimensional objects. The first automaker to include Dolby Atmos audio in its Lucid Air model was Lucid Motors. Dolby Atmos will be added to more automobiles this fall, according to Volvo and Mercedes-Benz.
