Is ChatGPT About to Take Your Job? Narayana Murthy, the founder of Infosys, says this

By dismissing the idea that artificial intelligence could one day rob you of your work, Infosys founder allayed the mounting anxiety and concern around the appearance (and invasion) of AIs like ChatGPT. When generative programmes were first introduced to the public in 1977–1978, the same anxiety was felt worldwide, Murthy recalled in his remarks to the media. According to Narayana Murthy, the human mind is more adaptable and versatile. He advises establishing a foundation and avoiding being overpowered by the AI.

The generative AI bot ChatGPT from the OpenAI company has raised some interesting questions about the future. With the stunning launch of ChatGPT's most recent incarnations and the plethora of online use cases, the perceived threat to particular occupations has never been so real.

While ChatGPT is a fantastic AI tool that is empowering the IT sector, there are obvious flaws, mistakes, and ethical problems. It can do pretty well, particularly in jobs requiring legal material, scientific writing, technical writing, and digital marketing. The AI can draught routine content rather effectively, though it is unlikely to be any better. It aids in developing more original solutions than two strategists combined.

Although the LLM (long language model), which is fed on millions and trillions of data sets, can almost match human speed and accuracy, it does not possess a sentient brain. It has enabled programmers to create better ones. In fact, it has been used by animators to perform simple Python programming in Maya. The recent multi-million dollar agreement between Microsoft and OpenAI to use Bing has only solidified the direction of AI.

Unlike fads like NFTs and Metaverse, AI is here to say (not saying Metaverse has obliviated, but…) While Google’s Bard, Meta’s LLaMA, and other niche startups coming with their own AIs, will it be time to say goodbye to some of our jobs? Maybe good riddance is a better word here.

The use of AI will undoubtedly take some employment. In any case, it will leverage productivity while assisting businesses with resources and cash. Having said that, not all of the positions will be filled by CharGPT and its ilk. Instead, it will develop into a kind of creative and strategic assistant. And the experts agree with that.
