Release of "Hogwarts Legacy" for PS4 and Xbox One has been postponed once more till May 5

If you own an earlier platform, you'll still have to wait two more months for Hogwarts Legacy to arrive on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. If Warner Bros. Games and Avalanche Software don't postpone the game's launch date yet another time. The game was meant to be released on February 10th for all systems, but they had repeatedly delayed its release over the previous few years. They did, however, make it known that Hogwarts Legacy will only be released on the PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC in February, while the PS4 and Xbox One would receive it on April 4.

A character creator in the action role-playing game Hogwarts Legacy allows you to select your own name, gender, voice, and look. It also features an open area for exploration. It occurs in the Harry Potter world you are familiar with, yet it happens long before The Boy Who Lived was created.

The developers stated in their release that they are "working diligently to create the best possible experience on all platforms," but they "need additional time to do this." They didn't elaborate on what they meant, but what they effectively said when they indicated the game wouldn't be available for older platforms in February is basically what they said then. Nonetheless, the Switch version is still probably slated for release on July 25th since the developers made no mention of it.
