At Rs 729 Cr., Shah Rukh Khan's "Pathaan" surpasses Aamir Khan's "Dangal" to become the highest-grossing Hindi movie.

The box office success of Pathaan, starring Shah Rukh Khan, has been phenomenal. After a lengthy absence of four years, SRK made his big-screen comeback with this movie, and it appears that the wait was worthwhile. One record after another has been broken, and the movie is making more and more money every day. According to the most recent reports, the movie has now surpassed all other Hindi movies in terms of box office revenue. The SRK-starring film outperformed Aamir Khan's

Dangal's box office results. According to Yash Raj Films, the movie has made much more Rs 729 crore in foreign markets. The box office total for Dangal (Rs 2000 crore) was considerably too high, but it also included the roughly Rs 1200 crore movie earned in China after its Manarin release. In its Hindi adaptation, Pathaan, starring Shah Rukh, has just managed to surpass Dangal at the box office.

"Action aur entertainment ka combination #Pathaan is garnering love throughout the world," YRF commented in the Instagram photo she uploaded.

The film's domestic box office receipts currently stand at Rs 398 crore (including Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu). The movie will shortly join India's 400 crore club. And with that, the movie hopes to surpass the records set by Baahubali 2 and KGF: Chapter 2. It may surpass the KGF 2 record in the upcoming days, and if this pattern holds true, it may surpass Baahubali 2's 511 crore Hindi score as well.
